Michael Poirier is a California State licensed Architect who received his degree from California State University Pomona in 1996. He has over 25 years of architectural experience in urban planning, architectural design, graphic design, and interior design. He is influenced by Timeless Modernism, European Design, and the Southern Californian lifestyle. Michael has worked with many of the leading architects, thinkers and designers in Los Angeles including: Moule and Polyzoides Architects and Urbanists, Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects, Clive Wilkinson Architects, Marmol Radziner Associates, Assembledge+, Steinberg Architects, and Rios Clementi Hale Studios.
Michael Poirier helped start many of these companies, and led their design teams to create award winning projects, while learning from some of the best designers in the world. He has experience designing in the most exclusive neighborhoods in the world. Commercial projects include Cages in DTLA, Production Club Offices, Recording Studios, and Spartina Restaurant. Recent projects include homes in Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Doheny Estates, Trousdale Estates, Bel Air, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach, Silverlake.
Notable clients include production designers, athletes, artists, musicians, writers, managers, lawyers, and scientists.
Michael Poirier draws on his experience as an artist, musician, and creative in his architecture. He has past experience with College radio, Bands, DJ-ing and even production.
Today, Michael Poirier has designed and permitted over 60 projects, including many in the most exclusive addresses in the world.
